Terms of Service

Last updated: September 28, 2026

1. What RunMirror is

RunMirror ("we", "us") is a personal reflection tool for runners. It connects to your Strava account, reads your activities, and shows you patterns in your own running: rituals, dedications, milestones, personal records, race analysis and pacing plans. It is built and operated by Balaji Mudduluri in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. By using RunMirror you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

2. Your Strava account

RunMirror uses the Strava API. Your use of Strava is governed by Strava's own terms, and connecting RunMirror does not change them. RunMirror is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava. "Strava" and the Strava logos are trademarks of Strava, Inc. and are used under Strava's brand guidelines to identify the source of your data. You can disconnect RunMirror at any time from your Strava settings; when you do, we delete your data automatically.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old and hold a Strava account in your own name. RunMirror is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

4. Your data, your view

Everything RunMirror shows you is derived from your own Strava data and is shown only to you. We do not display your data to other runners, build leaderboards or comparisons across athletes, sell or license your data, or send it to any artificial-intelligence service. Sharing images you export from RunMirror is your choice and your responsibility.

5. Free to use; donations

RunMirror is free. Nothing about your Strava data is ever behind a charge. If you choose to support the project, donations are processed by Stripe on Stripe's pages, are voluntary, do not unlock features, and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You can stop a recurring donation at any time from your Stripe receipt or by emailing us.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another person's data, interfere with the service, probe or overload it, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. Do not use RunMirror in any way that would breach Strava's API Agreement if you were the developer.

7. Accuracy

RunMirror is a mirror, not a coach or a medical device. Pacing plans, heat estimates, aerobic-decoupling figures and every other number are estimates computed from your data by fixed rules. They can be wrong. Do not rely on them for decisions about your health or safety; consult a qualified professional.

8. No warranty

RunMirror is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement, and any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will be preserved. Strava makes no warranties of any kind regarding RunMirror and is not liable for it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither RunMirror nor Strava will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of RunMirror. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you donated to RunMirror in the twelve months before the claim or US$50.

10. Termination

You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your data from the Account page or by disconnecting RunMirror on Strava. We may suspend or end the service, or your access to it, at any time, including if Strava withdraws our API access; if that happens we will delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date will change and, for material changes, we will note it on the site. Continuing to use RunMirror after a change means you accept it.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
